After dedicating our lives to serving the local church for more than 25 years each, we are more passionate than ever about her future.  We love the church!

In 2023, our family entered a season of transition. As we sought the Lord’s direction for what was next, a clear confirmation emerged: we were being called by the Lord to plant a church.

This pivotal season became a catalyst for that calling. It became increasingly evident that God wanted to use our personal stories—testimonies of His healing, restoration, and justice—as the foundation for something new. A church that would look and feel different from anything we had previously experienced in ministry.

During this time, Bryan, while driving for Uber, found himself in countless conversations about faith, theology, and spirituality. These interactions—literally with hundreds of people—revealed a consistent theme: many people felt they knew what the Church stood against, but few knew what it truly stood for. Their view of Christians and the Church was often shaped by hurt, judgment, or misunderstanding.

This deeply moved us. It fueled a passion to plant a church that would help rewrite the narrative—a church that reflects the heart of Jesus.  A church that is louder about what Jesus is for than what He is against. One that looks like Jesus, sounds like Him, and treats people the way He would—with compassion, grace, and empathy.

We envision a church known not for judgment, but for extravagant kindness, love, and good works in the community. A church that leads with grace, echoing the truth in Romans 2:4—“It’s the kindness of God that leads to repentance.”

Our hope is to create a refuge—a place of healing for those wounded by the Church or broken by life. A church that stands with the oppressed, the hurting, and the marginalized. A church that champions justice, offers restoration, and welcomes all who seek hope.

We believe that God still heals, still redeems, and still sets people free today. We are humbled and honored to step into this calling—to be part of building a church that powerfully represents who Jesus truly is, as we help people to find and follow Him.
