About Us

We are Bryan & Caz Sands, pastors who just moved to Chino, California. We are planting Restore Church; a new, trauma-informed church that aims to help people heal who have been hurt by the church, or hurt by pastors/leaders, or hurt in life. We want to be a church that is louder about what we're for than what we're against. We want to be a church that looks like Jesus, sounds like Jesus, and loves like Jesus.

This website started initially as our way to communicate with people about the mission we were on of figuring out how to move back to California where we felt God calling us to plant a church. We would use it to give updates on the journey and share more about Restore Church and our vision and plans. We started dreaming about this a few years ago when we were living in Hawaii. Since then, through the generosity of many, we were able to move our family of 6 from Hawaii where we had been the past 6 years, to Chino California. We were able to secure some funding for the church, and we were able to get started on organizing this church plant.

Now, we are in the process of turning this site into the Restore Church website, so you will see some changes in the coming months. You can read all about what made us want to start a church, the values we have for the church, more about who we are and our experiences, and learn of any upcoming events and dates for the church.
