Over the years, we’ve had hundreds of conversations with people about faith. And we’ve noticed a heartbreaking pattern: So many people know what the Church is against—but few have experienced what it’s truly for. Too often, people’s view of the church and Christians is shaped by pain, judgment, or misunderstanding.

Coupled with this is the fact that tragically, in recent years, Christians have become accustomed to revelations of deep abuses in our churches —abuses of power, sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse—even in some of the most respected communities of faith.

And honestly? All of this has deeply moved us. It’s why we’re planting a church.

A church that will be different.

A church that looks, sounds, and loves like Jesus.
A church that leads with kindness, compassion, grace, and empathy.
A church that’s louder about what Jesus is for than what He’s against.

We are committed to building a refuge—a trauma-informed, healing-centered community that protects the vulnerable, restores the wounded, and models the radical kindness of Jesus.

We are committed to building a church with a culture of goodness that resists evil and promotes healing, safety, and spiritual growth; because that is how we guard against abuse.

We envision a community known not for judgment, but for extravagant kindness and good works. A church that brings healing to the broken, hope to the weary, and restoration to the wounded. A place that welcomes the hurting, stands with the oppressed, and echoes the truth of Romans 2:4: "It’s the kindness of God that leads to repentance."

We believe He’s calling us to build something that reflects His heart.
