Our History

Our Journey to Planting Restore

After dedicating more than 25 years each to serving in the local church, Bryan and Caz are more passionate than ever about the future of the Church. They deeply love the Church and believe in its calling and potential.

In 2023, their family entered a significant season of transition. As they sought the Lord for direction about what was next, a clear and compelling confirmation emerged: God was calling them to plant a church.

That pivotal season became a catalyst for this calling. It became increasingly evident that God intended to use their personal stories—testimonies of healing, restoration, and justice—as the foundation for something new. A church that would look and feel different from anything they had previously experienced in ministry.

During this time, Bryan spent many hours driving for Uber, which unexpectedly opened the door to countless conversations about faith, theology, and spirituality. Through interactions with hundreds of people, a consistent theme emerged: many felt they knew what the Church stood against, but very few knew what it truly stood for. For many, their view of Christianity and the Church had been shaped by hurt, judgment, or misunderstanding.

These conversations deeply impacted Bryan and Caz. They ignited a growing passion to plant a church that would help rewrite that narrative—a church that reflects the heart of Jesus. A church that is louder about what Jesus is for than what He is against. A church that looks like Jesus, sounds like Him, and treats people the way He would—with compassion, grace, and empathy.

Their vision is for a church known not for judgment, but for extravagant kindness, love, and good works in the community. A church that leads with grace, echoing the truth of Romans 2:4: “It’s the kindness of God that leads to repentance.”

They long to create a refuge—a place of healing for those wounded by the Church or broken by life. A church that stands with the oppressed, the hurting, and the marginalized. A church that champions justice, offers restoration, and welcomes all who are seeking hope.

Bryan and Caz believe that God still heals, still redeems, and still sets people free today. They are humbled and honored to step into this calling—to help build a church that powerfully represents who Jesus truly is, and to help people find and follow Him.
